Dr. Roger Perez completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish at the University of San Diego. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). His clinical internship at UTSW consisted of two major rotations that focused primarily on assessment of children and adolescents. He received training in psychoeducational and psychological evaluations at a specialized institute for children with learning disabilities. He also received training in pediatric neuropsychology at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, where he provided services for the traumatic brain injury, neuro-oncology, and neurofibromatosis clinics. Dr. Perez completed his two-year postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Advanced Neurobehavioral Health of Southern California, where he specialized in outpatient neuropsychological evaluations of children, adolescents, and young adults with medical, developmental, learning, and emotional/behavioral problems. He has been named a Credentialed ImPACT Consultant, having received advanced training in concussion assessment and management.
Dr. Perez provides comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to individuals from infancy to young adulthood. In addition, Dr. Perez is the Director of the Concussion Clinic at Advanced Neurobehavioral Health, and he is the primary provider of concussion assessment and management services. Dr. Perez is licensed to practice psychology in the state of California (PSY 23295).
